This years Troop Cruise will join forces with the Bay Head Yacht Club and the Racquet Club of Philadelphia

Itinerary
 

Friday September 23rd- Crews are encouraged to board their vessels in the morning in order to safely reach the anchorage well before sundown. We will raft in Mill Creek off of Whitehall Bay (39º 00’ 33” N 76º 27’ 43” W) The committee encourages cocktails and Troop songs.

Saturday September 24th- We will break raft @ 10:00 a.m. and head to the starting line near the mouth of Whitehall Bay. Our final destination is Annapolis. There will be a cocktail party with open bar and catered dinner at the National Sailing Hall of Fame. The dress is yachting casual (Jacket, tie and topsiders). Sunday September 25th- We have an oppotunity to take the Bull and the Bear out for a sail on Sunday. The Bull and the Bear are modeled after the 1869 sandbagger, SUSIE S, these boats were built for racing and are still considered challenging for this day and age. More about the Bull and Bear.

Hello fellow sailors, it's that time of year again! I am very pleased at the way this year's cruise is shaping up. We have choosen Annapolis as the venue for the 2011 Troop Cruise. We are excited to visit this premiere sailing town.

Please make sure that you reserve your boat now, there are boats available at the popular Haven Yacht Charters in Rock Hall.
