GENERAL OVERVIEW

Members of the British Royal Family and United Kingdom governmental officials have requested that the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry conduct a series of events with selected individuals and units.  This request is the result of ongoing positive interactions between members of the Royal Family and members of Her Majesty’s government and the Troop.

MISSION

The First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry will conduct joint tactical, professional development and ceremonial operations in Great Britain with members of the Royal Family and Her Majesty’s military forces, in order to improve understanding and strengthen ties with our British allies.

COMMANDER’S INTENT

The Commander intends to unite the recently deployed soldiers with the other Active Roll members in an historic and dignified series of events; conduct tactical and familiarization training with Royal Military Units; continue to develop the close and friendly interaction between the Troop and Her Majesty’s personnel through official events with the Royal Family; utilize this unique opportunity for Officer and NCO professional development; recognize all current Troopers for their Outstanding Service to the Country and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Honoraries and Non-Actives are invited to join the Active Roll and share in the camaraderie of this wonderful experience.  Lieutenant Gobora has arranged group rates on transportation and lodging (in a military barracks). The subscription rate is a mere $1,000 which includes the Royal Reception. There is no charge for Active Roll members who contribute full pay.

Non-Active and Honorary members are welcome to arrange your own lodging if you would prefer not to stay in a barracks.

To be clear: The charge is $1,000 whether you choose to utilize the barracks or if you attend all or only some of the events.  It’s a bargain at twice the price!
